Martin Luther King Jr. Day, 2012.

Let’s all remember today that the work of MLK is not over. People are still and may always be discriminated against. Whether it’s because of their gender, culture, ethnicity, disability, religion, sexual preferences, etc. It’s our job to see our own flaws and continue to improve ourselves each day. It’s our job to change ourselves and not others. It’s our job to continue to fight for what Mr. King stood for: A nation where we will not be judged by our external appearance, but by the content of our character. I’m sure that if MLK was with us today, he’d be preaching to all a message of love and unity, informing us that there is work to do. Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day!
